Duran Golf Club – Events for the Family
Duran Golf Club is more than just a golf course. It serves as the heart of Viera and has many exciting activities to offer along with special events throughout the year for the little ones. Duran offers a variety of classes, activities, and more for kids of all ages!
Foot Golf combines soccer and golf into a fun activity for the whole family. Instead of using a club to hit a golf ball on the course, patrons kick a soccer ball into the hole. It is just like a regular golf course where players are met with large greens and hazards along the way!
Living in Florida we all know that playing golf is a way of life and the sooner you learn the better you will be. Duran Golf Club is proud to have the only junior development program of its kind on the Space Coast. Duran offers two different After School Golf Programs including Birdies, for children between the ages of 4 and 7, and Eagles, for children between the ages of 8 and 13. Kids will learn a variety of golf skills including putting, chipping, pitching, and more! They also have Summer Programs available!
You can find a variety of special events around the holidays at Duran. If you have lived in Viera for a year or more, you likely have heard of the extremely popular Trick or Tee event. Typically falling near Halloween, this spook-tacular event is located on the Par 3 course and is filled with vendors and trick-or-treating stations throughout. This event is very popular and often sells out tickets extremely quickly, so be sure to be on the lookout on the Duran Golf Club Facebook page. Another fun holiday event is the Breakfast with Santa located at the Tradewinds Restaurant at Duran. This event is an all you can eat breakfast buffet with delicious foods from Tradewinds Restaurant complete with Christmas decor and an opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Duran Golf Club and Tradewinds Restaurant offer many opportunities for events and banquets of all kinds. Reunions, corporate seminars, birthday parties, graduation parties, school club events, fundraisers, and more can all be hosted at here! They also have a specific birthday party packages for all ages!
